Dog walking prices in Brunswick East: what is included?
A walking quote is easier to compare when you know what the booked time covers. At Footpath & Co., the minutes listed are time on foot. Local collection and return are included separately, so travel does not use up the walk.
The prices below are Footpath & Co.’s rates as published on 4 October 2026. They are in Australian dollars. For future bookings, check the current pricing page in case anything has changed.
Small-group walks
A 60-minute group walk costs $55 for a one-off booking or $50 for a regular walk. Groups have a maximum of four dogs, matched for suitability, and walks are on lead.
A regular place means agreed weekly days. Two group walks cost $100 a week; three cost $150. The service is billed weekly for the walks scheduled, with no minimum term.
One-off bookings depend on availability. The lower regular rate comes with an agreed weekly arrangement, rather than a bundle of walks to use whenever you choose.
Private walks
A private 30-minute walk costs $50 one-off or $48 regular. A private 60-minute walk costs $85 one-off or $80 regular. These are individual outings, with the pace and route discussed for your dog.
The choice of duration should reflect the walk you are looking for. A full hour costs more because it books more walking time. If you are unsure which option fits, explain your dog’s routine when you enquire.
Two dogs from the same home
A second household dog joining the same group costs $45 per walk. For a shared private walk, the additional charge is $20 for 30 minutes or $30 for 60 minutes. Both arrangements depend on handling suitability.
Those rates apply to two dogs sharing the accepted arrangement. They do not mean that a second dog has a separate private booking or an automatically reserved group place.
What the price covers
Every walk includes local collection and return, water, waste bags and a photo update. Tanya serves accepted addresses in Brunswick East, Brunswick, Carlton North, Fitzroy North and Thornbury.
For a group outing, allow up to two hours from collection to return, including the 60-minute walk and travel. Tanya confirms the collection window before booking. Private collection times are also agreed individually.
When payment is due
You can enquire and attend the complimentary 20-minute introduction without paying. Tanya first checks your dog’s suitability and whether there is a place available.
Once a booking is confirmed, one-off walks are paid before the walk. Regular bookings are billed weekly in advance for scheduled walks. Public holidays and walks cancelled by Footpath & Co. are not charged.
If your main question is which service to choose, the comparison of group and private walks explains how the outings differ. You can then discuss the days and collection arrangements you need at an introduction.
